’FRISCO BRANCH OPENED Hind, Rolph and Company, Inc., San Francisco, who have held the Union Steam Ship Company’s agency there since 1912, will relinquish it on December 31, 1938. As from January 1. 1939, the company will establish its own branch in San Francisco, with Mr S. B. Pilcher as branch manager. Since the inception of Hind, Rolph’s agency there has always been a member of the Union Company’s staff attached to their office, Mr S. B. Pilcher being the present representative. He joined the staff of the Union Company at Invercargill in 1912, and has served in the company’s offices in California and British Columbia fori the past 15 years. He succeeded Mr I R.
