FEELING IN GERMANY

ANTFBRITISH ATTITUDE CHANGE IN POLICY. HITLER’S “DOUBTS” CONFIRMED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 18. “The Times” Berlin correspondent says observers are inclined to believe that the German anti-British attitude is symptomatic of the permanent change in German foreigh , policy, which was based with the long-range principle of friendship with Britain. Events since Munich are believed io have tended to confirm Herr Hitler’s doubts as to the practicability of this policy. The new disturbance of German and American relations is unfortunately timed for German commercial interests, who had hoped for an agreement with the United States to compensate for the disadvantages of the Anglo-American agreement.
