HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
SHOW ON WEDNESDAY' Particularly keen interest is being taken in the activities of the Horticultural society this season and what with an increase in membership with corresponding prospects of increased entries, there is every indication that the Show to be held in the Municipal Hall next Wednesday will be an outstanding success. ' Several beautiful challenge cups are to be competed for at this Show whilst also in addition to the usual prizes for each class there are numerous special trophies for various classes. The Show will be officially opened by Doctor Hosking accompanied by Mrs Hosking, at 3 p.m., but as usual doors will be open to the public from 2 p.m. onwards, and in the evening from 7 p.m. onwards. Afternoon tea will be available to visitors. Exhibitors who have not yet forwarded entries to the Secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood, 5 Perry Street, Masterton, are urged to do so without further delay. Entries are scheduled to close at noon on Tuesday.
