SWIMMING CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Swimming Club will open the | season on Saturday next with a carnival when it is expected that Masterton swimmers will be present. Red Cross Society. A proposal is on foot to form a branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society in Eketahuna, and the directorGeneral, Mr Ira J. Budger, it to address a meeting tonight for this purpose. Personal. Mrs Watson, of Nireaha. has as her guest, Miss L. Cunningham, of Takapau. Mr W. J. Mountjoy, of Wellington, who has gone to London to take an exchange teacher’s position, is a brother of Mr R. Mountjoy. of Eketahuna. Mr and Mrs V. Everingham and Mr D. Everingham, Wellington, were weekend guests of Mr and Mrs H. Hansen (Haunui).
