Mrs S. M. Baird, Cole Street, Masterton, is visiting her daughter, Mrs R. Glendinning, at Wairoa. Miss Mavis Martin, Wairarapa, is paying a short visit to Mrs Hugh Webb, Papanui Road, Christchurch. Miss Patricia Gill, of Cole Street, Masterton. who has been spending a few days in Wellington, returned home today. Mrs Ormond Cooper and her daughter, Miss Cooper ,of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs B. R. Bunny, Cole Street, Masterton. Mesdames J. Caselberg (Masterton), S. L. P. Free (Masterton) and R. Miller (Kopuaranga) will attend the Plunket Society conference at Wellington this week. FEATHERSTON (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Nancy Carlyon, who for the past two years has been on the teaching staff of the Tokaano Native School, has received notice of her transfer to Whakatane. Miss Carlyon will commence her new duties at the beginning of the year. Miss Twentyman left today for Paraparaumu Beach where she intends spending a week or so before going, to the South Island. Miss Norris, Wellington, is relieving Miss Twentyman.
