The Chinese have recaptured Poklo, Wiachow, Sheklun, Sheklung, Siaopinh, and Tsungfa. Traitors who helped the Japanese to establish puppet municipal administrations are being executed and their heads displayed on poles over a dozen provincial centres. \A fierce battle is at present occurring on the Tsungfa front, with the Chinese threatening Fahsien, the recapture of which would bring a very large army within striking distance of Canton. PANIC IN CHANGSHA GREATER PART OF CITY ON FIRE. RAPID JAPANESE ADVANCE. (Received This Day, 8.45 a.m.) SHANGHAI, November 14. The rapidity of the Japanese advance has caused a wild panic in Changsha, the greater part of which is on fire and the populace is fleeing westward. The Japanese say the fall of the town is imminent.
