EIGHTY ACRES OF LAND AT WINDSOR

A letter received by the Mayor of Windsor announces that his Majesty has decided to give to the Corporation of Windsor eighty acres of land alongside .the Thames, adjoining Windsor Castle.

The letter adds that in making the gift, the King hopes that, in considering the future use of the land, the council will be mindful of the requirements of the youth of the district and that everything possible will be done to provide recreation to increase physical fitness among the rising generation.
