Some were gutted, others were half destroyed, but none can be used for worship. Bombs used for the destruction of some synagogues shattered nearby windows. By midnight all Jews had been examined at the police stations or in their homes. Thirty are believed to have been successful in attempts at suicide. It was added that if they wish to avoid justified hashness Jews must get out as quickly as possible. DENIALS BY GOEBBELS ATTACKS NOT ORGANISED. “MERELY SPONTANEOUS OUTBURSTS." (Received This Day. 9.55 a.m.) BERLIN. November 11. Dr Goebbels repudiates the assertion that the anti-Jewish attacks were organised and says they were merely spontaneous outbursts.
