FINAL DAY AT ADDINGTON. SENSATIONAL FINISHES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 11. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s spring meeting was concluded in beautiful weather. The attendance approached a record. The track was fast. Totalisator investments amounted to £73,830, compared with £61,906 last year. The total for the meeting was £188,156, against £173,752 10s last year, an increase of £14,403 10s. There were sensational finishes in the Cashmere and Louisson Handicaps. The Louisson Handicap resulted in a record of 4.17 3-5 by Renown’s Best, she- being the first mare in New Zealand to register this time, and a record by Logan Derby of 4.14 1.-5; the fastest time ever ’ registered by a stallion in New Zealand.
