ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS

LOYAL MASTERTON LODGE. MEETING IN MASTERTON. A meeting of the Loyal Masterton Odd Fellows’ Lodge was held last night. Bro F. Knowles presided. Members draped their Regalia in memory of their late Bro James Walker. A vote of condolence was passed to the relatives. Members desirous of attending a lecture by Bro Shrimpton at the Greytown Lodge meeting on Thursday night, are to meet at the lodge room at 7.45 p.m. The Grand Secretary will speak on the National Health Scheme. The Juvenile Lodge will visit the Lower Hutt Lodge on Saturday night, the Senior Lodge assisting in defraying expenses. It was decided to hold a dance on November 19 in the Masonic Hall.

The Cricket Club reported in connection with their opening matches. Arrangements for the distribution of Christmas present to children under 10 years of age are in hand. The following members were nominated for office, the election taking place on Quarter Night:—Sister P. Wilton, N.G; Bro L. F. Morris, V.G.; Bro P. C. Reynolds, C. Mooney, E.S.; Bro C. Mooney, P. C. Reynolds,' W; Bro P. M. Smith, J. Longley, Dispensary Board; Bro W. Palmer, F. G. Wright, C.S. Council; Bro J. Harris, L.M.; Bro P. M. Smith, Trustee.
