FIFTY SHOCKS
RECORDED IN JAPAN DURING FORTY-EIGHT HOURS. CENTRE OF DISTURBANCE UNDER THE SEA By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) TOKIO, November 7. The last earthquake shock occurred at 1.40 a.m. It is officially stated that the shocks lasted for 48 hours. Fifty separate shocks were recorded on the seismograph. It is believed the centre of the disturbance was under the sea.
