OBITUARY
VETERAN FOOTBALL OFFICIAL.
(Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON. November 6.
Mr William Pickford, president of the Football Association, has died at his home in Bournemouth. He' had completed fifty years’ unbroken service as a member of the council, of which he had been vice-president since 1907, until August, when he succeeded the late Sir Charles Clegg as president.
