Despite an official denial by South Africa House of a report which appeared in the “Daily Mail” to the effect that the Union intended to remain neutral for as long as possible in the event of a European War, the “Daily Mail reasserts that South Africa has told Britain that she will remain neutral. Similarly, it is stated, South Africa has advised the representatives of foreign Governments in Cape Town.
