COMING OF AGE PARTY

MISS N. FLAWS HONOURED. A very pleasant function was held recently in the Epiphany Hall, Kuripuni, to mark the occasion of the coming-of-age of Nilla, the only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Flaws, of Wright Street, Masterton. There was a large attendance of friends and relations. The guest of honour was the recipient of many beautiful gifts. Mr C. Jackson provided the music for the dancing, and Mr W. Harrington acted as M.C. Mr E. Grantham rendered several humorous items which were enthusiastically applauded. Mr Harrington proposed the toast of the health of Miss Flaws which was received with musical honours. The healths of the parents and grandparents of Miss Flaws were also toasted after Mr Ackerman (grandfather) had presented the “key of the door” to Miss Flaws.
