Employing numerous tanks, the rebels have steadily increased their gains on the Ebro front, securing eight miles of the road from Pinell to Mora de Abro. The loyalists are attempting to make a stand at Mora de Ebro in order to permit of an evacuation across the river, a hurricane of bombs and shells having previously precluded organised resistance.
