LORD STRABOLGI TO VISIT
NEW ZEALAND INTERESTED IN EXHIBITION AMUSEMENT PARK WILL SUPERVISE SOME OF WORK (Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, November 4. Lord Strabolgi, chairman of the Midland Steel Company, which, in the face of the keenest American competition, successfully tendered for the erection of an amusement park for the New Zealand Exhibition, plans to go to New Zealand personally to supervise some of the work.
He said today: "While in New Zealand I will attend meetings of the Empire Parliamentary Association, and look forward to renewing my friendwith Mr Savage and other New Zealanders. I may also get in a few days’ big game fishing.”
Big shipments of tubular steel are at present being prepared in England.
