SHOWMEN COMBINE

NEW’ ZEALAND ASSOCIATION FORMED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. With a prospective membership of fifty, the New Zealand Showmen’s Association was formed after a meeting at the spring show here. It is intended to affiliate later with the American Showmen’s Association and the English Showmen’s Guild. The principal aims are to protect such operators as work in harmony with the A. and P. associations, to raise status of and uplift the amusement business and protect it against unjust restrictions The president is Mr C. Davey, the secretary, Mr E. R. Dennes, the treasurer, Mr H. Pell.
