FROZEN MEAT
LONDON MARKET REPORT. The Bank of Australasia, Masterton, reports having received the following cable, dated November 1, from the London office: —Frozen lambs: Considerable falling off in demand owing to exceptionally large supplies of home killed selling at very low prices. Both New Zealand and Australian prime quality supplies limited and prices likely to remain steady, but other grades plentiful and market easier. Frozen mutton: Slow trade and prices lower. Very heavy accumulation ewes causing depressing effect on the market. Frozen beef: Moderate supplies meeting fair demand, market steady.
