Edwards, 27 points; Society’s £1 Is, most points sewing and fancy work, Miss Jean Juden, 34 points. PIG CLASSES. BACONERS AND PORKERS. The following is the grader’s report on porkers and baconers' killed at the Waingawa Freezing Works on October 28:— Class 359. —One bacon pig most suitable for local market, not under lOOlbs or over 1401bs freezing weight. (Prizes donated by Mr B. R. Rayner). Pen 835, G. W. Busby, 1351b5, Ist. Pen 824, Rayner and Hood, 1171bs, 2nd. Pen 832, H. J. Brown, 1211bs, 3rd. Pen 825 was condemned on re-ex-amination by the Government Inspectors) Pens 826 and 827 were underweight. Pens 828, 829, 830, 831 and 834 were over weight. Judging at Show: 829, Ist; 830, 2nd; 831, 3rd. Class 361.--On& bacon pig 120 to 1601bs freezing weight (any pig under or over the stipulated weight not to be sent to London. This class and the next are to judged again in London). Pen 845, W. R. Daysh, 1471b5, Ist. Pen 847, F. C. Yule, 1601bs, 2nd. . Pen 848, at 1331b5, was a very good baconer, and would have been placed second but it had a bruise that spoilt the side. Pens 843 and 849 were rejected by the inspectors for pleurisy, and pen 850 was overweight. Judging at Show: 846, Ist; 845, 2nd; 847, 3rd. Class 362. —One porker, 60 to 801bs freezing weight. Pen 865, S. H. Cotter, 761bs, Ist. Pen 856, Miss Kempton, 611bs 2nd. Pen 863, H. J. Brown, 601bs, 3rd. Pen 862 was put in the second-grade through getting spoilt to a certain extent in the de-hairing machine. Pen 864 was rejected. Pens 853, 854, 857 and 858 were under weight. Pens 859, 860 and 866 were over weight and pen 867 was condemned. Judging at Show: 859, Ist; 860, 2nd; 863, 3rd
