BOWLING
MASTERTON CLUB GAMES. (Notes by “The Bowler”). > On Saturday next, the first round of the Masterton Bowling Club’s fours will be played. The teams will be selected at 1.15 p.m. from those players whose names are 'then in the box in the pavilion. Any player who is likely to be a few minutes late, can ring up some one in the pavilion and ask that his name be placed in the box.
BOOTH CUP.
WAIRARAPA COMPETITION. The draw for the Wairarapa Bowling Club’s Booth Cup competition is as follows, play to begin at 2 p.m.:— First round, November 12: Masterton v Park at Park; Martinborough v Greytown at Greytown; Carterton v Featherston at Featherston. Second round, November 26; Masterton v Featherston at Masterton; Greytown v Carterton at Carterton; Martinborough v Park at Martinborough. Third round, December 10: Masterton v Martinborough at Masterton; Featherston v Greytown at Greytown; Carterton v Park at Park. Fourth round, February 4: Masterton v Carterton at Masterton; Greytown v Park at Park; Featherston v Martinborough at Martinborough. The same draw will apply for Shield games.
