WORKMEN’S FRIEND No. 2. The monthly meeting of directors of the Workmen’s Friend No. 2 Building Society was held last night, the chairman, Mr F. J. Hunn, presiding. Mr W. H. Jackson, who apologised, was the only director absent. The financial report was received and correspondence dealt with. A report of the Valuation Committee on a security offered for an appropriation was considered and approved. It was decided to appropriate £4OO by sale on December 17.
