WAITAKI SEAT
MAJORITY OF NATIONALIST INCREASED. RESULT OF MAGISTERIAL RECOUNT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIMATE, November 2. The magisterial recount of votes in the Waitaki electorate at the general election, conducted by Mr H. Morgan, S.M., was completed this afternoon, giving the National candidate, Mr Kidd, a margin of 14 votes, an increase of four on the previous count. The final figures are:— D. Barnes (L.) 4643 D. C.
