WELLING ION-MASTEKTON TRAIN DELAYED PASSENGERS TRANSHIPPED Steady rain during the past 24 hours brought down a large slip on the railway line between Kaitoke and the Summit .this morning. The Welllng-ton-Masterton mail train was held up and the passengers had to walk round the slip and join another train for Masterton. The train was expected to be about an hour late in arriving here. . The rail-car, which left Masterton for Wellington at 7.50 a.m. today, got through before the slip came down, but the 10.20 a.m. rail-car was held up.
