CLEARING SALE
F.C.D.C. COMPANY, LTD. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op-eratitve Distributing Co., Ltd., reports having held a clearing sale on account of Mrs J. McKay at East Taratahi on Monday last. Cattle and implements sold under keen compettition, but some of the sheep sales were rather disappointing. The following are some of the realisations: — Ewe hoggets, 325; 2-th. ewes with lambs at foot, 19s all 'counted; s.m. ewes with lambs at foot, 11s to Ils 9d all counted. Draught gelding, 4-yrs., £4l; cob mare, £2O. • P.A. bull, £9 15s; cows with calves at foot, £4 to £6; store cows, £3 to £4 15s. Lister shearing machines, £5O; Donald wool, press, £l6 ss; three-,furrow plough, £2O; seed stripper, £7 15s; drain plough, £l3 10s; roller, £l9; spring cart, £4.
