The head and neck were normal, the ribs reversed, with the organs outside. Its four legs were different in size and joined from the middle of its backbone, each leg joint being reversed. The mother was a Jersey cow. The calf, a heifer, was the third offspring and was a full-time birth. The calf died soon after birth. The animal was sent to Massey Agricultural College.'
