A row over Marshal Blomberg’s marriage with a typist on February 4, led to his retirement and that of General von Fritsch and thirteen other generals. NEW NAVAL COMMANDER (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) BERLIN, November 1. Admiral Boehm, commander of the North Sea station has taken over the German Fleet command.
