DAIRY BULL SALE
SLUMP IN PRICES. Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report.as follows: —We held our annual bull fair at the Carterton yards yesterday when a very big entry of all breeds of bulls was offered to a good attendance. The number of bulls offered exceeded the demand with the result that prices slumped somewhat. Very few 2-yr. bulls made over lOgns. while yearlings were even lower. Prices right through were disappointing and it was evident that dairymen are not out to pay big prices for dairy bulls.
