MAURICEVILLE WEST
TENNIS CLUB SEASON CLOSED. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville West Table Tennis Club brought its season to a close on Thursday evening when visitors were present from many surrounding clubs. A Yankee Tournament was played which was wone by Miss U. Lochore and Mr H. Myers, with Messrs R. Morriss and N. Myers runners-up. After sunper was served dancing was indulged in until the early hours of the morning. Personal Items. Miss A. Forsberg, Lower Hutt, spent the weekend with relatives here. Miss J. Nielsen has returned from a short holiday spent with friends in Taratahi. Mrs C. Rothery, New Plymouth, accompanied by her daughter, are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. W. Hood.
