PRICES ABOVE EXPECTATIONS Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co Ltd report:—We held a clearing sale at Greytown yesterday on behalf of Mr K. Humphries. The herd comprised pedigree and high grade Friesian cows which came forward in excellent condition. There was keen competition and prices were above expectations. Pigs and sundries also sold well. The following are the prices:—Pedigree cows from £ll to £l4 10s; grade cows, £8 to £lO. The whole herd average, including pedigree cattle, £lO 14s. Pigs sold as follows: —Sows r.w. boar, £3. Slips, 27s to 295. ,
