DRUNKEN CYCLIST
FINE OF £2 IMPOSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., October 31. A fine of £2 and costs was imposed on Louis Weekes for being drunk in charge of a bicycle, when he appeared before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Palmerston North, today. It was stated that when riding the bicycle he hit a car and had to be taken to hospital with an injured shoulder and broken ribs.
