INVITATION OF CITY OF LONDON. PROPOSED ADDRESS OF WELCOME. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) RUGBY, October 20. At a meeting of the Court of Common Council of the City of London, held at the Guildhall, a resolution was unanimously passed, inviting King Carol, who proposes to visit London between November 15 and 18 accompanied by the Crown Prince, to receive an address of welcome in a gold box and afterwards to be entertained at luncheon at the Guildhall.
