WEDDING
WILKINS—NEAGLE The wedding took place at Brompton Oratery, Kensington, London, on September 19, of Dr Charles Debden Wilkins, son of Mr and Mrs Edward R. Wilkins, darterton, and Constance Gwendoline, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs James A. Neagle, Dahnevirke. The Rev Father H. A. Connell officiated. 4 The bride’s gown was of powder blue French lace over powder blue satin, cut on Empire lines, falling to the ground, and she carried a bouquet of pale pink carnations and maidenhair fern. The circular powder blue tulle bridal veil, edged with silver, was held in position by a head-dress of blue blossoms and silver leaves. Miss Annette Tate, daughter of the late Dr and Mrs Tate, “Clanside,” Jamaice, attended as bridesmaid and wore a dainty frock of primrose muslin with an autumn tinted sash, and a headdress with gold leaves to tone. She carried a posy of cream and gold rosebuds. The bride was given away by Mr H. W. Elsworth, Bexhill-on-Sea, and Dr ■ Stewart McCallum, of Hull, was best man. A reception was afterwards held at ■ the Hotel Normandie, Knightsbridge, London. The honeymoon was spent on the j Isle Of Wight.
