DANCE AND EUCHRE
LABOUR PARTY.GATHERING. That. the series of dance and euchre tournaments held in the Y.M.C.A. under the auspices of the Masterton branch of the Labour Party are very popular was ably demonstrated last evening when both halls in the Y.M.C.A. were filled' to capacity. Music was supplied by Messrs Barnes and Longworth. The M’s.C. were Messrs Esler and Wilton. The Monte Carlo prizes were won by Miss L. Boustead and Mr J. Malloy and the winners of the card tournament were Mesdames E. Brown and B. Gardner and Messrs C. Pedersen and M. Rimene. The committee has decided to hold a similar function on Thursday, November 3, when flannels will be optional.
