MEETING OF COMMITTEE. CLOSING DATE OF ART UNION. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr H. McPhee presided at a meeting of the Managament Committee of the Wairarapa Rugby Union held at Carterton last night. A circular letter from the New Zealand Rugby Union contained suggestions from N. A. Mitchell, the All Black captain, relative to alterations in the back play of New Zealand teams. The suggestions are to be embodied in a report to be circulated among clubs. The Auckland Rugby Union wrote thanking the Wairarapa Union for the hospitality extended to the Auckland players on their visit to Masterton. In connection with the Rugby Union art union it was decided to apply for an extension of the closing date to November 30. with the drawing date on December 14. It was decided to request all clubs to make a special effort to dispose of tickets before the • new closing day. • Accounts amounting to £2O 14s were passed for payment.
