STRANGER THAN FICTION
Morris Tolkin, visiting Brockton. Massachusetts, went into a shop for a packet of cigarettes, and stared in astonishment at the proprietor. The shopkeeper was Samuel Blumberg, and the two, had been soldiers together in the Russian Army 42 years ago. Then the wives were brought in to be introduced. They took one - look at each other, and in a moment were laughing and crying in each other’s arms. They were half-sisters, so longseparated that each had given the other up for dead.
