SON SUES FATHER
CONFINEMENT IN MENTAL HOSPITAL. ALLEGED COLLUSION WITH DOCTOR. TORONTO, October 18. Mr Leonard Marler* has filed a 300,000-dollar suit against his father, Sir Herbert Marler, Canadian Minister to the United States, and Dr George Stevenson, superintendent of an Ontario Hospital, alleging that by wilful collusion they illegally confined him in a mental hospital for seven months, thereby preventing his marriage to an American girl to whom his father was opposed.
