MYSTERY NOTE

FOUND NEAR WRECKED BOMBER THE DUNMOW TRAGEDY LONDON, Octobe'r 19. A. mystery note, “What will happen to this plane in a few minutes?” was found beside the wreckage of one of two Air Force long-distance Vickers Wellesley bombers which crashed in flames a mile apart, after colliding in mid-air over Dunmow in Essex, killing S * It is' believed the note was written by a radio operator who attempted a parachute jump and was found dead five yards from the plane with the parachute covering him. He was still wearing headphones.
