GARDENING CIRCLE
COUNTRY WOMEN'S CLUB. BRIGHT DISPLAY OF FLOWERS. There was a gay display of flowers at the Country Women’s Club yesterday when the Gardening Circle held its show. The exhibition was opened by Mrs Max Cleghorn and Miss Olive lorns interested those present with a talk on Holland. The show proved a notable success, both socially and financially. The following were the awards:— Collection of shrubs: Mrs R. Miller 1, Mrs Aplin 2; Mrs Baty highly com-’ mended. Collection of cut flowers: Mrs Hodgins 1, Mrs R. Miller 2. Non-specified bloom: Mrs R. Miller 1, Mrs H. Graves 2. Three roses: Mrs P. G. Ramsay 1. Bowl of flowers: Miss M. Turley 1, Mrs Aplin 2. Victorian posy: Miss M. Turley 1. Vase of flowers: Mrs Ramsay 1. Buttonhole: Mrs Ramsay 1. Presentation box of flowers: Mrs Baty 1.
