N.Z.M.R.A. CONTESTS. SOUTH FEATHERSTON CLUB DOES WELL. The Witcombe and Caldwell Cup, the final team shoot of the season, conducted by the N.Z.M.R.A.. was won by West End (Timaru), with Timaru second. There was a tie in this match between these two teams, with 73G each, and when the .25 gauge was used there was a further tie. but when the .3 gauge was used West End won by one point. South Featherston scored 727 points. The individual scores were: —C. Bain. 147; Rasmussen, 141; Lumsden, 150; J. Bain, 145; Hodder, 144, The Rhen West Cup was won by the South Featherston Club, with a score of 3462 out of a possible 3550. the Christchurch Working Men’s Club was second with 3456 points. The South Featherston Club will hold the cup for the following year. Twenty-seven clubs entered, but nine of them did not compete the full shoot. The individual grand aggregate in which 15.3 members competed, was won by C. Bain, of the South Featherston Club (741 points) who holds the Turner and Le Brun Cup for the year. M. Hodder (South Featherston) scored 735 points.
