HERR FUNK’S ANTICIPATIONS RESULTS OF RECENT MISSION BERLIN, October 17. The German Minister of Economy, Herr Funk, who has returned from South-East Europe, declared that Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey were political friends, and were forming a Balkan axis from the German frontier to the Black Sea, capable of expansion which had enabled negotiations involving economic reconstruction. With the carrying out of plans, there was a possibility of further long-terms barter credits, placing economic relations on the basis of a long-term agreement, enabling stable deliveries and prices.
