WAIRARAPA SHOW
The Wairarapa show at Carterton on Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and 27, should be one of the most successful ever held by the Wairarapa and East Coast Pastoral and Agricultural Society. Entries throughout are particularly good. Motor, trade and machinery exhibits are a bigger feature than ever, whilst side show alley will easily be the best for many years. Many first-class attractions recently imported from overseas will be in the line up. The ring competitions, hack and pony events have drawn entries equalling the best of recent years, and the public will be sure of plenty to keep them interested on both days of the show. NIGHT SHOW Many attractions are promised at the night show to be held on Wednesday. A Maori Concert Party, national dancing and items by the Wairarapa Pipe Band should find ready favour. Other features include new games, many novel and interesting side shows and other entertaining novelties. Altogether, the night show should prove a most enjoyable occasion.
