JERSEY BULLS
SALE AT CARTERTON RANGE OF PRICES Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co Ltd report:—At Carterton yesterday we held a pedigree Jersey bull sale on behalf of the Wairarapa Jersey Cattle Club. Fifty-six bulls were catalogued, and Mr Toose, the firm’s stud expert congratulated the breeders on the manner in which the majority of the bulls had been brought out. There was only a moderate attendance. Mr Alex Keith of Masterton topped the sale with “Ngahiwi Volunteer,” a fashionably bred 2-year bull and bought by Mr W. H. Gordon of Greytown at 50gns.
