DORSET STUD RAMS
EXPORTS FROM AUSTRALIA. South Australian breeders are exporting a large number of British-bred rams to South Africa this season. The most popular breeds at the Cape are Dorset Horn and Southdown, with the formermost in demand. Among those sent from Port Adelaide to Capetown last month were 75 Dorset Horn and five Southdown rams. A considerable number of Dorset Horns are also being sent to New Zealand from South Australian studs. One of the latest importations was a ram purchased from Mr R. R. Hart, of Glen Devon, Two Wells, the buyer being Mr L. Crooks, Waipukurau.
