THE “PERFECT GIRL”
PRUNELLA STACK MARRIED IN GLASGOW By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, October 16. Twenty thousand people packed Cathedral Square, Glasgow, when Bri“perfect girl,” Prunella Stack, aged 22, leader of the Women’s League of Health and Beauty, was married to Lord David Douglas Hamilton, today. The police had made arrangements similar to these for an important football match, but stampeding women broke the cordon. Many fainted, thereby missing the coveted sight of Scotland's ideal wedding of Britain's !jj 1 health and beauty girl to the handsome and athletic son of a duke. Six of the prettiest little Scottisn society girls and two adult bridesmaids accompanied the bride as she swept up the aisle in a parchment velvet gown with leg of mutton, sleeves, and a train five yards long. The bridegroom and best man wore the full Royal Stuart Highland dress and a piper played the bridal party from the church. Miss Stack, who contributes “beautygrams” to the Press, which show how to secure perfect feminine development, received a cheque for £2OO from 150,000 members of the Beauty League as a wedding present.
