FATHERS & SONS
BANQUET AT Y.M.C.A. TOMORROW. The Father and Son banquet will be held in the Y.M.C.A.’s new hall tomorrow night. The new general secretary of the Wellington Y.M.C.A, Mr Vic. Jones, will make a special trip to Masterton to give an address and an entertaining programme has been prepared. The purpose of this function is to help to cement the nationa] bonds of fellowship between fathers and sons and so make a contribution to the happiness and wellbeing of both. All men in the community, whether they are associated with the Y.M.C.A. or not, are invited to attend the banquet which will commence at 5.45 p.m. and conclude about 7.30 p.m.
