CZECHS & GERMANY

PROSPECTS OF AGREEMENT FOREIGN MINISTER REPORTS TO CABINET. DELEGATION TO BE SENT TO BERLIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) PRAGUE. October 16. After hearing a report from M. Chvalkovsky (Foreign Minister) on his conversation with Herr Hitler, which he described as of a most friendly nature, Cabinet decided to send a delegation to Berlin to negotiate regarding new economic relations between Czechoslovakia and Germany and other transition problems. M. Chvalkovsky told Cabinet he had received assurances that Germany will assist. Czechoslovakia will be expected to agree to a compromise with Hungary, but this will involve much less than the Hungarian demands. Germany demands a better understanding of her political viewpoint, and a fairly rapid disappearance of anti-Nazi organisations.
