ROAD CYCLING RACE
NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. WIN FOR CHRISTCHURCH RIDER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 15. A. Clemence (Christchurch), riding off the scratch mark, won the 145-mile New Zealand road championship cycle race today. H. Snowdon (New Plymouth) and D. A. Swanston (Cust), two other scratch riders, filled second and third places. Besides winning the race, Clemence put up fastest time.
