MINIATURE RIFLE 'CLUB, (“Times-Age” Special.) The Miniature Rifle Club brought its competitions to a close last night with the following results: — R. Amos, 62, 6, 68; V. Amos, 65, 5, 70; F. BraseH, 67, 3, 70; S. Broughton, 56, 12, 68; J. Cowperthwaite, 66, 3, 69; S. Davidson, 67, 3, 70; Mrs Dempsey,' 62, 6, 68; E. Findlay, 65, 5, 70; W. George, 67, 3, 70; S. Harvey, 67, 3, 70; I. Howatt, 62, 7. 69; R. Nelson, 67, 4. 70; I. Smith, 67, 5, 70; C. Skill, 61, 8. 69; K. Wright, 67, 3, 70. J. Cowperthwaite won the September trophy. V. Amos won the consolation prize and F. Brasell won the novelty prize for the last night. Radio Club Function. There was a fair attendance at the Radio Club’s euchre tournament held last Tuesday, the winners were:— Ladies: Mrs McCardle, 1; Mrs Mclvor. 2. Men: Mr McPherson. I; Mr I. Howatt, 2. Sale of Work. The Busy Bees held a sale of work and produce at the Presbyterian, Hall on Wednesday afternoon. The weather was fine and the stalls did brisk business.
