SALE IN WELLINGTON ADVANCE IN PRICES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. There was a good demand for hides and sheepskins at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. Sheepskins advances by from 3d to Id a lb. Prices of hides were also better. Cow, lights and mediums, were ; ’ ( d to a lb higher, heavy cow, Id to ?d a lb higher light ox, jd higher; medium and heavy ox, on a par. Kip slightly easier. Yearling and calf, i}d to Id alb higher. The following is the range of prices: Hides: Ox, 331 b to 441 b, 23-8 d to 5; 3-8 d to 6 5-8; 701 b and over 5 5-8 d to 591 b, 4 7-8 d to 6 l-8d; 601 b to 691 b, 5 3-8 d to 6 -58 d; 701 b and over, 5 5-8 d to 6 5-Bd. Cow, 331 b to 391 b, 4 7-8 d to 5Jd; 401 b to 48lb, 4 7-8 d to s?d; 491 b and over, 21d to 5.,d. Kip, 251 b to 321 b, 4«d to 6d; "171 b to 241 b, 5d to 7 l-Bd. Yearling, 11 lb to 161 b, 6j.d to 8 3-Bd. Calf, 91b to 101 b, 7 3-8 d to 8 l-8d; 61b to 81b, 3£d to 103 d. 11b to 51b, 4d to IOJd. Sheepskins: Dry, halfbred, 8d to 83d; fine crossbred, 7{d to 9d; medim crossbed, 63d to 8:;d; coarse crossbred, 63d to 8:|d; half-wools, 53d to 83d; quarterwools, 5d to Bad. Salted skins: Three-quarter-wools, to 5s 3d; full-wools, to 5s lid; lambs, 2s 6d to 3s 6d. Tallow: Slightly easier. In casks, etc to 11s; in tins, 7s to 7s 6d. Sundries: Cow tails, to 8d; horse hair, lOd to 223 d.
