THE LIQUOR POLL
To the Editor.) Sir,—The direct connection between the liquor traffic and one of its after consequences, criminal abortion, is well known. I would ask those who go carelessly to the poll to vote for the restoration of the liquor traffic in our town to remember that we are losing by wilful abortion young New Zealanders at twice the rate at which they were killed during the Great War. —Yours, etc., N. A. R. BARRER. Masterton, October 12.
